Intensive Driving Lessons can be anything from two days to two or three months. Everyone is different in how quickly they will learn to drive and what experience they have had to date. For example, if you are a new driver who has never been behind the wheel before, you might need forty or fifty hours of driving lessons. On the other hand, if you have had some lessons but never got around to taking your Driving Test, you might only need ten or twenty hours of driving lessons.
The most efficient way of deciding what needs to be done to get you ready for your Driving Test is to do an Initial Assessment Lesson which normally lasts for two hours. In these two hours, we can discuss what you need to work on. This will give you an idea of how many hours it will take and the time scale in which you want to do it. Again, this can vary greatly: it could be eight hours over two days or it could be four hours every other day over a period of one or two months.
You will also have to consider that you will need to have passed your Theory Test before you can book your Driving Test. This can take up to two weeks to do and then you may have to wait another six to eight weeks before you can take your Practical Driving Test.
